Yeshivat Shiloh is located in the very heart of the Binyamin region in the community of Shiloh – the site where the Divine presence rested for over 300 years. The yeshiva is dedicated to the development of Torah scholars who study Torah and serve Hashem with their hearts and souls. Today, there are about 100 single and married students at the yeshiva, in addition to students who are currently serving in the IDF. The yeshiva is headed by its President, Rav Michael Brom, and the Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Aviv Gamliel.
The learning style at the yeshiva is thorough study of Gemara, exploring the topics from the initial stages of the literal meaning of the Gemara, while delving into the deeper levels explained by Rashi, Tosfot and the other Rishonim and Achronim, until reaching the final Halacha. Throughout the day, studies continue with Emunah classes, and in the afternoon, Gemara is studied on the level of proficiency with a study partner. In the evening, there is also Gemara study, as well as the study of the fundamentals of Emunah, Mussar, and Chassidut.
There is a Kollel at the yeshiva where about 25 married students study together as a group for the Chief Rabbinate exams, with a focus on practical Halacha. It is headed by Rav Gavriel Gabbai.
